You are here: Home > Resources > Recycling Recycling OpportunitiesWe have several ways to recycle at Chatham. Taking advantage of these convenient opportunities enables you to support ministries, keep waste out of landfills and improve our environment and our community. If you have any questions, please contact the church office. Please inform friends, family, co-workers and neighbors of our programs, and thanks for doing your part! Paper Recycling
Gather all your recyclable paper from home and work (see list below) and
drop it off in our large green and yellow recycling dumpster. The higher
we fill the bin, the more we can earn per ton. Visit
Abitibi Paper
Retriever for more on the program. YES, please recycle:

Recycling Tip: Many of the above materials can be recycled at St. Ferdinand Park at N. Lindbergh and St. Ferdinand in Florissant, the closest recycling center to Chatham. Plastic bags can be recycled at any Dierbergs grocer. Please phone the church office for information on other area recycling centers and programs. Clothing & Household Item RecyclingThe yellow and white shed on our lot is for reusable clothing and household items. Merchandise Pickup Service (MPS) is a for-profit company contracting with non-profits as the middle-man for distribution of usable items to local thrift stores. Chatham receives 6 cents per pound for clothing and linens from MPS for this collection.
Donations are tax deductible. Keep a list of items donated and phone 636-282-0000 Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to request a receipt. Aluminum Cans
We are helping a local gentleman collect aluminum cans. He uses the funds he earns to support various mission organizations. Please bag your aluminum and place it in the fenced area housing the canoes behind the gym.
Thanks!
